A picture, similar in drawing and composition, is in the Museum of Troyes (Cat. 1911, No 43, 46 X 57 cm; signed left, undated). It is probably the same picture that was exhibited in the Salon of 1699, together with The Judgement of Solomon. Provenance: since 1927 The Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts, Moscow (received from the State Museum Reserve)
